Background

The community vision expressed in the Gravois-Jefferson Historic Neighborhoods Plan is for accessible, sustainable, inclusive neighborhoods where families and individuals thrive in a diverse and historically rich, engaged community.

After a two-year community engagement process, the Plan was adopted by the City of St. Louis Planning Department as a supplement to their Comprehensive Plan in May 2018.  The plan has highlighted a broad set of priority areas: safety, youth and education, housing, economic development, transit, arts and culture, health, and environment. LDG looks forward to working in partnership with other community organizations to implement the plan priorities.
